President Christina Carlos-Roberson

Christina Carlos-Roberson serves as president, and is also one of the founders of Shoot to Walk. She started the organization due to a tragedy to her younger brother, which left him a quadriplegic.  She became his primary caregiver, and that experience inspired her to help others with this life changing disability.  She moved to San Antonio, TX in 1995, from El Paso, TX.  And in 2002 she and her husband, opened a Mobile Sporting Clays business, Tournament Targets, Inc.  The experience she brings to the charity is that of twenty years, traveling through out the country, helping clients and their foundations, bring awareness to their cause, within their communities, through Sporting Clay Tournaments.

Vice President Daniel Telles

Daniel Telles is originally from El Paso, TX. 

Daniel attended Southwest Texas State University where he received his BBA in Business. After college Daniel moved to Dallas to work in the hospitality industry. He has worked in sales with many large hotel brands such as Marriott and Hyatt. He currently lives in Montgomery, Texas with his wife, Barbara, and three beautiful daughters, Emma, Avery and Quinn. In his spare time, he enjoys working out, playing golf, mountain biking and spending time with his family. Daniel served on the board for the Lone Star Animal Welfare League in The Woodlands, where they brought assistance and advocacy to animals of Montgomery County. Daniel say, “I have a true passion to give back and volunteer with organizations that share the same values and goals that I do.” When asked to join the board of Shoot to Walk. “I was honored”. “Not only being lifelong friends with several volunteers and members, I chose to accept the position because I truly believe with a little hard work, we can make a difference for many who have suffered a traumatic event in their life.”


Vice President Angelica Perez, PharmD., MHA

Angelica Perez PharmD., MHA joins Shoot to Walk as the Treasurer.  Angelica is a Pharmacy Manager at one of the most successful retail chains in the US. She brings over 20 years of managerial and administrative experience to Shoot to Walk. As a Doctor of Pharmacy, she has become a patient advocate, especially to individuals who need assistance in navigating the healthcare system. With a medical and pharmacy background, she is able to provide support to patients that involve medication therapy or medical support.  Her role as a caregiver of a family member with a spinal cord injury made her realize the lack of resources and support this patient population has.  It has now become her passion and mission to change this disparity the SCI community suffers.   

Vice President Rudy Lopez

Rudy Lopez earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1999 from New Mexico State University. His degree was in Animal Science with a Minor in Biosciences. For the past 23 years, he has enjoyed a diverse career in the bioscience field as a Sales Professional. I began my career with Novartis Pharmaceuticals in 2002 as a Hospital Sales Professional. I specialized in Cardiology and Nephrology for about 8 years.  In 2009, I pursued a career in Veterinary Medicine for Merck Animal Health. I am currently selling for animal pharmaceuticals to Veterinary hospitals for Merck Animal Health.  

 

When Rudy is not working for Merck, you will find him seeking out investment real estate properties- cruising up and down new developments throughout San Antonio and Austin.  He enjoys spending the weekends visiting open houses and gaining building experience and ideas for his own investments.  He also enjoys spending time with his family and friends.


Secretary Patrick Duffy

Patrick Duffy is honored to serve as Secretary for the Shoot To Walk. He became involved with the organization through his friendship with Mr. Roger Carlos and the Carlos-Roberson family. Patrick retired from American Airlines in 2012 after working for the organization for 23 years. He is an avid cyclist, mechanic, photographer, world traveler and favorite uncle. He dedicates his time to helping friends and family.

Treasurer Shayne Roberson

Shayne graduated in 1997 with a BBA in Accounting from Southwest Texas State University (formerly known as Texas State University).  He has been auditing various industries and NFP organizations in and around the San Antonio area for over 20 years and is involved and on the boards or committees of several other non-profit organizations, such as San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, USA Rugby, and LoneStar Rugby Conference.  In his free time, Shayne enjoys travelling and other various outdoor activities, such as fishing, clay target shooting, and watching rugby matches.
